Core exchange

Exchange Parts & Core Deposit

Some products in our catalog (e.g., alternators, starters, brake calipers, drive shafts) are sold as "Exchange Parts". These are remanufactured to meet original equipment standards.

To ensure the recycling loop continues, manufacturers charge a deposit (Core Charge) for the old unit.

1. How it works (The Deposit Process)

  1. Purchase: When you buy an exchange part, a deposit amount is added to the price. You pay this upfront.

  2. Repair: Receive the new part and install it in your vehicle.

  3. Return: Place your old part (the "Core") into the box of the new part you just received.

  4. Refund: Send the old part back to us. Once we receive and inspect it, we refund the deposit amount to your original payment method.

2. Return Conditions (Checklist) To receive your full deposit refund, the old part must meet these criteria:

  • Completeness: The part must be complete (no missing screws or components).

  • Condition: The housing must satisfy the following: No cracks, no fractures, and no severe deformation. The part must be capable of being remanufactured.

  • Cleanliness: Please drain all fluids (e.g., brake fluid from calipers, oil from power steering pumps) before shipping to prevent leakage during transport.

  • Packaging: Please use the sturdy box the new part came in.

3. Shipping Instructions

  • Cost: The customer is responsible for the return shipping cost.

  • Address: AATEILE GmbH (Core Return) Allensteiner Straße 26 77694 Kehl Germany

Note: Please include a copy of your order confirmation or the invoice inside the box so we can match the return to your order.
